  12. I'm having a modem problem on a p133 system running preloaded win95
  13. (no old dos to boot to, only dos 7)  I have a program which just does
  14. not want to run under a win 95 dos session.  but when I  resart the
  15. computer to ms-dos7, the program can't communicate with the modem.

  17.  Is this because of pnp?  The modem is a USR 28.8 internal, which has
  18. jumpers to manually set the com and irq.  The manual says for pnp
  19. installations to remove all jumpers.  If I replace the jumpers and
  20. install it as a non-pnp modem will it work ok, and hopefully allow my
  21. app to communicate with the modem in dos mode?
